Why does everyone hate the Buckeyes?
Please if anyone can answer please do, I am having trouble understanding the immense hatred for the buckeyes. Did we do something to upset you? Consider:
1. Conference Schedules: Big Ten teams play big ten teams…SEC teams play SEC teams there is nothing that can be changed so if the polls think the conference is weak there is nothing you can do about it but play through the schedule. I am sorry that the Big ten has some cupcake teams, but so does the Big 12 and the SEC. That is just how it is, some years you're good, some you're not. The buckeyes can not make the other teams be any better, just like the Big 12 can not make Baylor be any better.
2. Non-Conference schedules: It looks like the SEC and The Big 12 have a non-conference schedule that is as difficult as a Big ten school. The Ohio State University plays as touch non-conference opponents if not tougher than any SEC or Big 12 school. The last few years we have played Texas, Washington (was decent when we asked them to play), and USC. I also know that the buckeyes have tried to get a SEC team to come play in non conference games but apparently the SEC is scared or something because they never go north to play any team.
3. Losses: If you want your one or two loss team to be above our no loss team in the BCS standings here is a hint… Do not lose a game. I don't care how great the team is, don't lose a game and you will be ahead of us in the rankings.
4. Losses revisited: I understand the Buckeyes lost the last two national championships. Sorry, we did not exactly plan that, sometimes bad things happen to good people. Seriously though are you going to compare losing in the National championship game to losing to an unranked team as is usually the case in your SEC, Pac 10 and Big 12 conferences? If your team is so good, why do your teams lose to nobodies? This year alone: Florida lost to Mississippi and USC lost to Oregon State these are all games that should have been won. The Buckeyes may lose, but we lose to the best not to some scrub team. (side note: good job to the Big 12 this year your loses come to teams that shoudl pose a challenge).
5. Recruiting: All I hear is how slow the Buckeyes are, really? Why is it that we have a top ten recruiting class just like the top schools in other leagues? Do we only get the slow players? Guys like Lauranitis Pryor, and Chris Wells were recruited by every college in the NCAA. How is it they were good when you wanted them, but now all the sudden they aren't? Doesn't make much sense…
Finally, I know the Buckeyes are not in the best conference this year, but seriously are you that naive to think that your conference will always be on the top? The top conference always goes through cycles, this year may be yours, but watch out because it will change…
What is the biggest mess your child has ever made in the kitchen??
One night, around 1:30 AM, my daughter woke me up with a very chipper "Mommy, come look!" I, still half asleep, got up and followed her into the kitchen. I found the light on, the oven turned on with dry cake batter poured into the cupcake pan, the fridge open, a dozen eggs cracked into a bowl on top of the stove, my sink plugged & overflowing onto the floor, and the filter holder to the coffee pot on the burner–turned on.
She said "Look Mommy! I made you and Daddy breakfast!"
I was speechless for several minutes, as I turned off everything that was on and put her BACK in her bed. I didn't get much sleep that night.
I want a recipe for the cupcakes (frosting)?? ?

Is billups overrated as a clutch shooter and should the pissedons be forced to play in the west?
He might be clutch in meaningless regular season games against bad teams, but since when has he ever made a buzzer beater to win a game in the playoffs. Guys like Robert Horry and Michael Jordan all have made many game-winning shots in the playoffs. In order to be considered clutch, you have to make the game winner in a big game because if you miss a shot with two minutes still left in the fourth quarter or in a regular season game, it's not the end of your season. Even webber, who is one of the biggest chokers in nba history, has made game winners during the regular season. As today's loss against the wadeless heat showed, the pissedons are just lucky that wade and shaq were injured all season and jamison got injured and don't deserve to have the top spot in the east. In the west, the pissedons wouldn't be able to pad their record against cupcakes. It would be nice if they had to face the Spurs in the first round as a fifth or sixth seed in the west just to get them out of the way.
Why is there so much love for the Big 12 this year?
How can anybody think that Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Missouri are all top notch teams? If you base it upon schedule they just take turns loosing to each other and crushing teams in their cupcake schedule.
If you look at the Recruiting classes it is very clear that Florida and USC are the best teams in the land yet USC is stuck way back in the polls.
How do they determine strength of schedule if the Big 12 has a hierarchy and the PAC 10 has evenly matched teams with USC reigning supreme?
I'm not a USC fanboy but i know that the could crush every team in the land with ease so please try to make some sense of this…
Should the baking times for both pieces of the Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan be equal?
I recently got one of those giant cupcake pans, with the top and bottoms pieces of a big cupcake that you assemble via icing. Mine's made by Wilton but I'm sure most brands' are basically the same…I was just wondering, since the top piece of the cupcake is a cone and bottom is a cylinder, should the bottom be baked three times longer than the top? It's volume is three times that of the cylinder…if I were to bake them for the same amount of time, wouldn't the top piece get all dried out and burnt? Or does it not work like that? I'm still fairly new to baking, and I'm really sorry if my question sounds kind of dumb. Thanks in advance for your help!
Is the only way to find justice for the Big 12 south is by separating the top 3 teams?
With the corrupted BCS system and no playoff of any kind. Is it time to separate the top 3 teams of Big 12 South: Texas, TTU, and OU. I think maybe 1 of those teams should get swaped with Iowa State to go to the Big 12 North unless if they want to stop using the North-South Division system. But one thing is for sure, in terms of national champ. and Big 12 title chances, the system is a huge failure allowing the South to have complete dominance over the North and allowing a North team to have a cupcake walk to the Big 12 title game. I think maybe swaping TTU because they don't want to separate OU with UT due to the rivalry and tradition.
How to remove cupcakes that are sticking to the pan?
I just baked mini-muffins. I let them cool and now I'm trying to get them out of the pan but they are sticking to the non-stick pan. I tried using a small silicone spatula but it's just taking all the tops off. Any ideas on how to loosen these? I overfilled the tin so the cupcakes have big tops. I'm not looking for tips on what to do next time–just how I can salvage these!
