Hi,
I'm looking for a wedding cake stand. Our daughter is having cupcakes with a solid cake on top for cutting. I have seen a casa domani 4 tier stand on ebay (missed out on it), but can't find one anywhere to purchase. We liked this one because it was "Chantilly Lace" pattern, however are interested in anything that may be similar. We can't find more than 3 tiers of any ceramic type at the moment, and they just aren't big enough. We are in Sydney and would love some feedback! Thanks.

Ok, this might be a stupid question but had to ask.

It seems most cake stands (say the 3 tier ones) have a pole that goes through the middle of them holding them all together like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cashmere-3-Tier-… so does that mean you can only put small cakes around them? Or does it unscrew and the pole actually somehow goes through the cake if you want a big size one? Seems silly as most cakes I would think were big ones.

I need a cake stand to hold cupcakes but the top tier is a full size cake so I'm not finding many that would work because of the pole / handle coming out the top!

I have a simple back yard wedding reception. I dont want a big cake so could I do cupcakes with our intials on top (Example: K) and then have a topper as a circle cake for us to save?

I am looking for some small bird or tree decorations- I am having a cupcake tier for my wedding cake, and I think it would fit our wedding if we had some nature-themed decorations to put on top of the cupcakes (we aren't really big icing or flower people!).

BAsically I want them to be about 1" tall or so, and able to be put on top pf cupcakes… if you knwo of anything like this, please let me know!

Okay, so tomorrow is going to be my boyfriend's birthday and hopefully, I get to make him a cake.

If I do make him a cake, I'm planning to use carrot cake mix and then when it's done and cooled down, I would add frosting to it. I'm planning to make two thin ones, and then layer it and add frosting in the middle of those two cakes. My question is, when you bake the cake mix, while it's baking, the cake tends to like rise or something (like a cupcake sort of thing), how can I prevent that and just make the cake mix form into a nice flat surface rather than one that is like a bigger cupcake sort of thing (where it rises up and there's like a bump at the top).

I am actually only twelve BUT I can bake and decorate a cake like a professional and I plan to open a bakery when I go through pastry school. I'm baking this cake for my sisters birthday(I got a big top cupcake pan for christmas and it has the filling insert its going to be a cupcake)This will be the first ice cream cake I have ever done its also the first time I'm gonna use my cupcake thing. CAN ANYONE HELP????!!!!!!!!!

My Aunt makes the best chocolate chip cake, so I tried to make one too. But when it cooled, we couldn't get it out.So when we finally could ,all the chocolate chips were at the bottom! So if you ever seen that Big Top Cupcake Bakeware thing on T.V., I wanna try to make a chocolate chip CUPcake so do you have any ideas to make it not be a mess again? Oh, and 1 more thing will choclate chips come out with a cake in a no-stick pan?THX!
