I have no idea….you could go ahead and stack it with a thin layer of icing between the layers and then carve it. What kind of pans are you using? With a layered cake, it is usually best to put the bottom layer "upside down" and the top layer can be either way…I'd put it right side up so that you kind of get the rounded top.
